Privacy Notice
This notice explains how Revelion LLC ("Revelion", "we", "us") collects and uses personal information through revelion.studio, including the Revelion Studio and RevelionAI pages.
Summary
- We collect the details you choose to give us when you send an enquiry or ask for early access to RevelionAI, so we can assess it and respond.
- Our hosting provider processes standard technical information whenever you visit, to deliver and secure the website.
- A security check by Cloudflare runs when you submit a form, to protect it from automated abuse.
- We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell your information.
- You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, and object to how we use it. Contact details are in section 13.
1. Who we are
Revelion LLC is a limited liability company registered in Delaware, USA. It operates the brands Revelion Studio and RevelionAI and is the controller of the personal information described in this notice.
Registered address: Revelion LLC, 8 The Green, Suite B, Dover, Delaware 19901, USA
Privacy contact: legal@revelion.studio
2. What this notice covers
This notice explains how we handle personal information when you visit revelion.studio and when you send us an enquiry or an early-access request through it. It does not cover services we provide under a client agreement, which have their own terms and privacy information.
3. Information we collect
3.1 When you visit the website
Our hosting provider receives the technical information your browser sends with each request: your IP address, browser and device type (user agent), the page you request including any campaign tags in the address, the referring page and the time of the request. We use it to deliver the website, keep it secure and diagnose faults.
The website does not set cookies and does not store information in your browser for tracking. See section 9.
3.2 When you send an enquiry
Our enquiry forms for founders, investors and established companies ask for:
- Contact details: your name, work email address, your company or organisation name and, where the form asks, your role and company website.
- About your enquiry: your answers about your company or organisation, the support you are looking for, timing, commercial context and the outcome you want to achieve, including any details you add in free-text fields.
- Enquiry details we record automatically: a random enquiry reference, which form you used and its version, the page you submitted from, the website that referred you (domain only) and campaign tags in the address (such as
utm_source), together with the date and time of submission.
Your answers stay in your browser until you submit them from the Review step. If you leave or reload the page before submitting, they are not sent to us.
3.3 When you request early access to RevelionAI
The early-access form on the RevelionAI page asks for your name, work email address, company, company stage and the workflow you would start with. We record the same automatic details as for an enquiry. Nothing is sent to us until you submit the form.
We do not ask for special categories of personal data, such as health information. Please do not include them, or confidential information about other people, in anything you send us.
3.4 Protecting our forms from abuse
To protect our forms from spam and automated abuse, we:
- run a security check provided by Cloudflare (Turnstile) when you submit. Cloudflare processes your IP address, browser (user agent) and connection characteristics and the website you are on, and returns a one-time result that we verify. We do not store the result;
- limit how often a single IP address can submit within ten minutes, using a short-lived count held in memory that is not stored; and
- check a hidden field and how long the form took to complete.
4. How we use your information and our legal bases
| Why we use it | Information | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| To respond to your enquiry and discuss a possible engagement | Contact details and enquiry answers | Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| To contact you about early access to RevelionAI, if you registered for it | Early-access details | Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| To operate, secure and maintain the website and protect our forms from abuse | Technical request information, security check signals, submission timing | Our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| To keep records of business communications, route them to the right people and avoid duplicates | Enquiry and early-access details, enquiry reference, form used | Our legitimate interest in managing our business relationships (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
We do not sell your personal information, share it for advertising, or use it for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. We do not use enquiry details to send you marketing. Our forms may flag a submission for internal review; a person always decides how to respond.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers acting for us, listed below. They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
- Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, where needed.
- Authorities, where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.
- A successor business, if our business is reorganised or sold, subject to this notice.
| Provider | Purpose | Transfer safeguard |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel Inc. (USA) | Website hosting and delivery | EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and EU Standard Contractual Clauses |
| Neon (a Databricks company, USA) | Database storage of form submissions | EU Standard Contractual Clauses |
| Resend (USA) | Internal email alerts about new enquiries and early-access requests | EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and EU Standard Contractual Clauses |
| Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) | Turnstile security check when a form is submitted | EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, with EU Standard Contractual Clauses as the fallback, under Cloudflare's Customer Data Processing Addendum |
Cloudflare acts on our behalf when it checks a submission, and as an independent controller when it uses the signals it collects to improve its detection of automated abuse. Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum explains this.
6. International transfers
Our service providers are based in the United States, and form submissions are processed there, in our hosting provider's Washington, D.C. region. For transfers from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on the safeguards listed in section 5. You can ask us for more information about them.
7. How long we keep it
- Enquiry and early-access details: up to 24 months after our last contact with you. Then we delete them.
- If we enter into an engagement: we keep the information needed for that relationship and for our legal and accounting obligations.
- Technical request information: kept by our hosting provider for the short periods it sets.
- Security check information: handled by Cloudflare under its own terms.
8. How we protect it
We use encrypted connections and access controls, validate and limit what our forms accept, and do not record the content of submissions in application logs. Access to stored submissions is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
9. Cookies and browser storage
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it sets no cookies of its own.
| Technology | Provided by | What it does | When |
|---|---|---|---|
| Security check (Cloudflare Turnstile) | Cloudflare | Checks that a form is submitted by a person rather than automated software, by processing browser and connection signals. The check runs in a frame served from Cloudflare's own domain, which may keep a small entry in that frame's browser storage in order to work. | Only when you use one of our forms |
| Enquiry navigation state | This website | Remembers which step of an enquiry form you are on so the browser's Back and Forward buttons work. It holds only the form type, the step number and a random session reference, never your answers, in the browser's own page history. | While you complete an enquiry form |
| Browser cache | Your browser | Keeps copies of website files, such as images and scripts, so pages load faster. | Every visit; you can clear it at any time |
These are strictly necessary to provide what you ask for, viewing the website and submitting a form, or to keep that service secure, so we do not ask for consent. If you block the security check, our forms cannot be submitted; you can email us at the address in section 13 instead. If we ever add a technology that is not strictly necessary, such as analytics, we will update this notice and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of your personal information;
- ask us to correct or complete it;
- ask us to delete it;
- ask us to restrict how we use it;
- object to our use of it based on legitimate interests; and
- receive the information you provided in a portable format, where the law provides this.
You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address in section 13. We may need to confirm your identity. We respond within one month.
If you are in the European Economic Area, you can complain to your local data protection authority. In Bulgaria this is the Commission for Personal Data Protection (cpdp.bg).
11. Children
This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 16.
12. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when our practices change. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
